2008 Vigna d' Alceo

Dark saturated blackberry and cassis flavors, followed by savory and earthy notes and some blueberry on the long finish. Very juicy profile but without any heaviness. The acidity holds it in perfect balance and gives it lots of freshness. Solid tannins but they are well integrated at this stage of the wine’s development. This is delicious now and will continue to drink very well for at least another decade.
