2014 Château Montrose

Overall, an excellent wine. 96points today, but improving with every bottle.

Beautiful nose of cassis and dark fruits. The palate shows freshness, good acidity, primary flavors of cassis and blackberries, then some slightly earthy notes on the nice ending. This wine is excellent already!

Aroma on the 2014 Montrose is beautiful, hint of spices, cedar, earthy. On the palate, the acidity is noticeably high. With steak, the acidity is more in check and the wine is much more pleasant.
